Refined family garden

This large oddly shaped garden provided several challenges, and the long thin L shape meant that moving through the garden had to be made into an exciting journey. The way that I did this was to break up the route through with intersecting raised beds planted with transparent soft planting. The addition of a bespoke made pergola with mechanically closing roof really makes the first part of the garden into an outdoor room perfect for entertaining. Moving through there is a secluded fire pit area and hot tub meaning the party can carry on late into the night!! At the bottom end of the garden there is a kids play area with trampoline and astroturf football area neatly tucked away round the corner. This garden really does offer something for everyone.
